That's what a neighbor said...
After serving more than a decade as ornamentation and critter habitat, the medusa's head of bunched up vine remnants growing up from under the eaves at the top of the chimney is gone. Removal was brought on by pigeons nesting, leaving long excremental streaks down the side of the house (not to mention birds being the carriers of some rather nasty virals these days) that I just wasn't willing to put up with. I waited til the young were nest free, and then, clad with respirator and crow bar up I went, and down it went.
